I'm diagnosed with GAD, BPD, and ADD, so I've got a great mix going on of constant worry, attachment and abandonment issues, and focus issues. I have a really difficult time liking and staying with hobbies. One of my "things" with BPD is trying something out and then giving up on it quickly. It's really frustrating because it often prevents me from learning new things. I also never seem to be interested in something enough to really go at it for longer than half an hour at a time. I want to find something that I can lose myself in but I'm running out of ideas.
My current hobbies are reading, watching a couple of shows (Ramy, Ozark, old SNL episodes), hiking (it's getting too cold in my area to do that though), and volunteering (can't do that due to COVID).
I don't want to do anything artsy because I really dislike my art and I end up having a more stressful time than an enjoyable one. I'm also not really into building things, so no woodworking or anything. Something I have always wanted to do was start selling baked goods for the full profit going to charities, so I would make no money - but due to COVID, I can't do that either.
Does anyone have any ideas for some interesting indoor hobbies that I might enjoy? My upcoming winter break will be 2 months long so I'll need things to fill the time with. Thanks in advance!
