Hyper hydrosis

Since I was a child I’ve suffered from excessive sweating in my hands and feet. At first my mother was told by doctors I would outgrow this by my teens, but I never did and it got worse instead. It starts to happen as soon as wake up, my sheets are drenched by my hands. My pcp told me this was a psychiatric issue more then a medical issue. My questions are the following: anyone else suffer this? What have you done to help?
