Hello, was wondering if anyone else gets anxiety about suffering from a ruptured brain aneurysm, or really just any aneurysm found within the body?
I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately, which is obviously not good for my mental health. I’m young and healthy; I just have trouble with intrusive, negative thoughts, and this one has been really bugging me lately.
Like just the fact that aneurysms are pretty much undetectable and relatively common… does that bother anyone else? Does it make you think that we’re just a ticking time bomb until an aneurysm ruptures and we die?
If you have this anxiety as well, please tell me how you’ve gotten over it or how you’re dealing with it. What kind of methods do you put into place to stop thinking about this kind of stuff? What data or scientific facts do you use that might cause you not to worry about ruptured aneurysms as much?
Thank you, and any positive/helpful advice is much appreciated.
