Still having health anxiety

Post Body

For the last 3 weeks or so I’ve been dealing with some extreme health anxiety. I couldn’t sleep or eat right all because I believe there’s an issue with my heart. I’m overweight so I’m always worrying about things such as heart health and diabetes. I’m only 24 but it still drives me crazy. It all started when I was going up the stairs and I noticed my heart was beating a bit faster than normal (I’m currently at my highest weight ever) and I’ve been extremely anxious and have been monitoring every single feeling. I’ve noticed sometimes when I breath in it doesn’t feel like I’m getting enough air. All tests I’ve done shows my oxygen is fine and my blood pressure is also good. Blood tests, EKGs, and chest exrays also come back good. My doctor prescribed me some anxiety medication and a beta blocker which has helped a little bit. For the last 3 days or so I’ve actually been feeling a lot better and I thought this was all over until last night where I felt some strange sensations in my chest. I’m not as worried but I’m still not 100 percent but it’s just so exhausting that after weeks of suffering and just when I thought it was over it’s come back. I went to a cardiologist and I have a heart echo scheduled for next week. Just wanted to ask if anyone has been through a similar situation like this?
