Pretty much, I’m a 6’2 male and I’m overweight and I’m 24. With that, I always worry about things such as heart problems and diabetes. I’ve been experiencing shortness of breath and I’d feel really tired when I would do some physical activity. So I decided to go to the ER and I got blood work done, chest X rays, EKG and everything turned out normal and nothing was wrong. Here I am a couple days later and I still feel horrible and even worse. I’m just so fixated on my heart and it feels like I can’t breath at times and it’s driving me insane. My father suggested to go to the ER again but I afraid that won’t make me feel better and it’s a mental thing at this point. I broke down crying earlier because I’m just so sick of this and want to return to my normal life. Any suggestions on how to get over health anxiety and tell me what you guys did to get it over with?
