I want to do things right, so much so that I lock up when I feel like things are going wrong.

Post Body

Have any of y'all found a good workaround or framing for this? I get going on a project or work I need to do, but when I hit an obstacle like "I don't know what to do here" or "I need something from somebody else" I end up losing momentum and putting it down.

There's a separate issue where, when I put things down to go get information, I immediately forget what I need. Then when I pick up said project again (usually when I really, really need to finish) I discover I still need to get that information. Sometimes I can get it, sometimes I make do without it.

Sometimes I just lock the fuck up and can't move in any direction. The time waste compounds the anxiety. And I get caught in the loop.

I know part of this is also ADHD related. I got diagnosed last year.
