I have struggled with anxiety for most of my adult life. I see a counselor weekly and have been on more medications than I remember. I have recently added a phycologist to my "team" who has changed medications, but the emotional side effects are worse than the feeling of not being on them. It is disappointing and frustrating that I have to mentally force my way through every day while the professionals keep telling me there is a way out. Not that every person has the same symptoms or treatment, but I just need to hear there is some hope I can beat this.
