The panic attack lasted over an hour. EMT’s checked me out and I (34/m) had elevated pulse and blood pressure, but I decided not to be transported. It turned into a two hour ordeal while on this work trip I’m on. I was consoling to a police officer while going through it for over an hour.

It was one of the most miserable and scariest experiences I’ve ever had. I didn’t think it was going to end. I finally took 0.25 Xanax after 40min of it and I eventually came down from it. My heart rate was 120 when squad checked me, and now back down to 80’s-90’s. It feels like I ran a literal marathon.

I never want to feel like that again but I know I probably will.
