I suffer from medical induced anxiety. Over the last few days, I’ve been feeling off and even started having random spurts of shortness of breath.
When I told my doctor, who is amazing, she assured me that it none of it sounded concerning and that it was probably anxiety induced (shocker).
It’s been really hard because even with the reassurance, when something out of the ordinary happens with my body, I start to spiral and lose control.
I have a very supportive partner and family, and I’m so appreciative of them. But at the same time, I feel that because of this spiral I’m going to let them down or become such a burden that I’ll lose it all.
The days were filled with crying and panic attacks. Worry and doubt. And it feels like this pit in my stomach and pressure in my chest won’t end. (Even though I know it will eventually pass)
My doctor is starting me on long acting Propranolol in addition to the Lexapro I’m on in order to try to balance me out. I hope it works because I can’t live like this…
