Before I go into too much detail, my girlfriend and I have an absolutely amazing relationship and I wouldn’t dream of having anyone else by my side and I know she feels the same way. However, she feels the need to walk on eggshells around me in the morning when we are first waking up. Until today, I wasn’t aware of this. I knew I was groggy in the morning but I didn’t know I was coming off as an absolute jerk. I don’t know how to fix this but I do feel like it may be anxiety related. All day today there’s been so much tension and I feel like a jerk. Does anyone have any tips for fixing the situation. I have apologized multiple times and made it clear that if I sounded like I was snapping at her, it wasn’t my intention but I know she’s still upset with me and I feel like she has every right to feel that way. I don’t know what to do but I want to show her that I’m sorry and I want to ensure it never happens again
