My greatest and most life-limiting fear right now is hopping on a plane. I tend to get anxious, and then agoraphobia sets in where I start panicking about having a panic attack. This is manageable in daily life but just the thought of having a panic attack while on a plane freaks the living shit out of me.
I’m wanting to try and conquer this fear this year, but I’m so nervous and can’t bring myself to book a flight. I’m a 24M whose never been on a plane before, never even left the country. Now I’m financially stable enough to book a trip but I simply can’t and it’s breaking my heart.
I guess more than anything I’m just wondering, how did it go when you tried to conquer this fear and finally hop on that plane? What tips and tricks did you use?
Thanks in advance :)
