As mentioned in our previous mod post, we are starting verification in this subreddit, to make it safer for our users to post in here. It's easy to do, and you don't need many supplies or time to get it done!

Please note it is NOT mandatory to do so at the moment, but HIGHLY encouraged to do so.

Starting today, we have two flairs in this community: unverified, and verified. By interacting in our community (by either posting and/or commenting) you will automatically be given the former. Verifying will overwrite this user flair, and give you a permanent "verified ✅" flair.

How to get verified

1. Have an account that is at least seven (7) days old.
2. Grab a piece of paper and a pen. Write down the name of this subreddit ("r/AntwerpGW"), your username ("u/ username"), and the current date with the month written in full ("5 november 2024").
3. Crumple up the piece of paper, and unfold it. Please do not try to remove wrinkles; wrinkles in the paper are a good thing, as it makes it harder to photoshop.
4. Take one photo of you holding the paper, with the text fully visible.
5. Take another photo of you holding the paper, but hold the pen you used in front of the paper.
6. Make sure both photos show enough of yourself so you can be identified in other photos on your profile as well. Full body, face, or nudity aren't necessary, but show something similar to the other photos in your profile. Please use two different angles for the two photos. Please do not edit your photos; cropping them and removing tattoos/identifiable markers is of course okay.

After you take these photos, please either post them on your own profile (like in the example above), or upload them to an image platform (Imgur if it's SFW, redgifs if it's NSFW, or other websites that provide a link after uploading the two images). Send the link of either your Reddit post or the link provided by the website of your choice through to us through this link (do not change the subject line, please!), and one of our volunteer moderators will look at it as soon as possible.
