No holiday and overtime work pay

Post Body

So, we are employed I think as "fixed-term" employees (?). We are paid by the hour but sometimes we are required to report before our respective shifts (without pay). Sometimes umaabot ng 12 hours yung working hours namin, most of the times yung shift lang namin yung bayad and not the hours that we were required to report. First of all, isn't this a clear violation of labor laws, na dapat pag nirequire na magreport ay dapat bayad? Second, di po ba pag lagpas sa 8 yung working hours, entitled sa overtime pay? Are there exceptions to this? Though there might be a stipulation in the contract stating na pwede yung ganun (wala sa pagkakaalala ko) but hindi ba considered as invalid pag contrary to labor laws?

Isa pa, holiday pays. Nagresearch na ako on who are entitled. May mga exceptions naman pero I really don't think kasama kami dito. Am I missing something here?

Thank you! 🙏
