Mirrors and what to look for
Post Body

I have had a lot of luck (in the U.s.) flipping mirrors from the early 1900’s. I normally find old mirrors at thrift stores and take them to a consignment store where they go for $75-150, so I have broken even every time.

My consignment store has a cap on the items it will take per month. As such, I have to choose between 4 or 5 great mirrors I have and I don’t know which criteria to use that will get me the most bang for my buck (I also happen to be attached to a few of them!).

What are the factors a seller or collector would consider when they are looking to spend a lot of money on a vintage mirror?
