What year is this sewing machine pedal from?

Bought a sewing table from a thrift shop in Michigan, USA, and this was in it. I'm assuming it's a sewing machine pedal, but am wondering what year it's from. There's no markings on it, except for the "Light Motor" electrical outlet thing attached to it. It seems to be made out of steel or metal, and squeaks when the pedal is used. Thanks!
