Christmas used to be about getting together with the family or friends, cozying up in front of a fire and spending quality time with each other.

Now, Christmas has turned into a soulless holiday. People put way too much emphasis on what gifts they should buy, not realising that it’s about the time you spent together (which, of course, now thanks to smartphones is minimal).

Considering that we don’t even need half the shit they sell us, is Christmas really worth it anymore?

I don’t really feel the same excitement as I used to in the past. The Christmas spirit is gone. The Christmas ‘maskot’ has been replaced by a fat, white, greedy capitalist and I am so sick of it.
