When this orange nightmare is over, I hope we can go back to debates where fact-checking isn't needed. The fact that no fact-checking is allowed is our problem in a nutshell. The idiocracy of America! The GOP has figured out they can lie all they want, and the press, in real-time, will let them lie. I don't think MAGA voters are big on fact-checking on their own. On the rare occasion, they dare to fact-check, the GOP squeals like a stuck pig! The media loves it when they lie; it opens the door for them to let them, which will keep the election closer and increase their profits! I miss the day when journalists ethically did their job.
