For the love of lootershooters, please bioware: instantly repair, or permit instant self repair when the boss is downed.

Last night I quit anthem and booted up destiny 2 for the first time this year because I had had it. We had just taken down the monitor on gm2 after 45 mins and several wipes due to bugs ( can't see your health bar after using your ult, can't res a player) and shitty res mechanics where you can die before the loading screen is gone when you self res...

We finally downed the boss and a stray wave of the electric shock takes out 3 of us. 2 are right by the boss's corpse and get rezzed. I'm by a pillar as I was running towards cover. Only one of the dead gets rezzed and gets to his loot. The other rezzed and was too disoriented to find his. Me? I'm watching 2 of them sprint towards me to Rez me with glittering gold and orange shimmering behind them as they try to Rez me before the instance timer expires.

They failed because you failed. It's unreasonable to have such a short instance end timer, not allow instant self Rez and not auto loot gear to the player.

I've been super understanding of the glitches and the need to rethink loot rolls and chances. But when I happen to get lucky enough for something to drop, damn it, I want the chance to pick it up.
