Looking for a tailer for my grandfather's Kimono

Hello, I am looking for recommendations for a Tailor or alterations place that could alter my grandfather's Japanese clothing (not actually sure it's a kimono I never lived in Japan) to be significantly smaller. I am a foot shorter than him. Does anyone have any recommendations for places that can work with traditional clothing? Eureka dry cleaners said they also do alterations but I am worried because they are primarily a dry cleaners.
