Hello.

My anki flashcards have been lost after I had upgraded windows 8 to windows 10, and moved from an HDD to an SD.

I found the collections file that can potentially “be” the lost cards, but Anki cannot import ANKI2 files.

I am struggling at this point. I cannot find any apkg files in my backup. I’ve searched the ENTIRE backup. nothing.

I never exported my cards. I just saved them.

Can anyone kindly help me or offer suggestions on what to do?

UPDATE:

I went thru the user file in the app data folder, and it turns out the backup was there, it was a .colpkg file.

Whoever may stumble upon this in the future, I hope this may help you. This was prior to the 2.1.37 release.
