Keep finding decent stories in anime, but the MC keeps ruining it for me where they’re useless, have a lack of confidence, and are oblivious until people spell it out for them.

Examples would be: Masamune-kun’s Revenge Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches Dawn of the Witch

There’s more but that’s off the top of my head. I’d prefer an MC that’s somewhat confident and doesn’t make idiotic suggestions, although having a moment is okay.

Mostly prefer isekai, action, romance, fantasy, slice of life, and it doesn’t matter what setting it’s in.
