My older brother(M18) hates on anime, i made him watch death note and he really liked it so he’s a little open minded, and he thinks all anime is too immature/weird. But all the anime he sees in media is mostly shonen, and he thinks that jojos faces are normal in anime. He can’t quite grasp that there are genres that are more serious like seinen, but anyways i need some shows to show him so he thinks better on anime. And ik code geass and steins gate are good and serious but they have they’re moments especially at the start where they’re more “crazy and weird” and he’d stop watching. TL;DR good seinen anime that’s serious the whole way through and good animation/not jojos faces
Edit: also preferably shorter shows
Update: he chose to watch code geass, cowboy bebop and parasite, since those were easily accessible (he has netflix) and are in english. I watch as in watch like the first episode, i wish he chose monster or steins gate or something but it’s fine. Thanks everyone!
Vinland Saga. Pretty mature and at the same time, welcoming to people not familiar with anime at all.
