I am somewhat new to anime, and I am indecisive about trying new things, so any suggestions are welcome. I watch dub, when available; if your recommendation is sub only because the dub is bad, that's fine. Here are the shows I couldn't get enough of, to show my tastes, in no particular order:

• Madoka Magica (watched it three times, liked Rebellion movie)
• Spice and Wolf (best romance I've seen in a show)
• Evangelion (great characters, such impressive art design)
• Death Note
• Attack on Titan (liked the first two seasons well enough, LOVED the third! Watched in sub then dub)
• Parasyte: The Maxim (similar feel to Death Note)
• Code Geass (dub and then sub, my first Anime)
• Death Parade
• Cowboy Bebop (like a Saturday Morning Cartoon for adults!)
• Mirai Nikki (Yuno Gasai!)
• Toradora (preferred sub for it)
• Many of the Ghibli films ( Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle, are my favorites)
