Please Help Me Decide what Deserves A Second Chance

I have dropped a lot of shows that are frequently mentioned after only one episode. I regret doing so, because some of the shows i have given second chances were really entertaining. To give an example, the first time i watched steins;gate i dropped it halfway through episode one, then later found it to be amazing. The problem is i have dropped 110 shows and am not sure what deserves another shot. Help would be appreciated.
