As the title says I am looking for similar anime to Date A Live. But with a catch I guess. In Date A Live we have Shido as a main character and for the most part I didn’t mind him. But I am looking for a MC that is more serious. Now not like depressingly serious but just takes things in a more serious way or logical way.

Like when watching the anime I imagined a scenario where there is a whole episode dedicated the him basically taking a break from everything because it’s becoming a bit much.

I would also like the girls to have a tiny bit more depth. Would love a scenario like what happens with Origami in season 3, but a bit more logical.

So any suggestions welcome, and of course they should be dubbed.
