What’s the most violent anime you’ve watched? Would you recommend it?

As the title states, I’m trying to find an anime completely filled with action, and I don’t mind if it shows some gory scenes. The more fighting and crazier it gets the better. I’m fairly new to the genre so I probably haven’t seen any of your recommendations. So yeah, I would really appreciate any ideas or suggestions for violent/crazy/gory anime! Oh, and I don’t really enjoy horror which probably cancels out a lot of shows. Thanks in advance everyone!
