Hotels pricing

So I am going to try for a 3 day pass if not then at least Friday and Saturday for 2024. This would be my first time getting a hotel room for a con. Where do you all usually get the hotels is it near Javits or somewhere in Manhattan? Also what kind of pricing do you go for? Thanks Iām advance! P.S how long in advance should I look for a hotel room?
