Do rooms in the Sheraton ever open up closer to the convention dates?

Hi y’all! This is my first time booking a hotel for Anime Boston and I had no idea the convention hotel bookings opened up before the tickets. I just bought my tickets and booked a room at another hotel, but I would love to switch to the Sheraton if possible. Does anyone know if rooms in the Sheraton ever open up again closer to the convention date? Also, does anyone know a good way to keep track of Anime Boston news that’s not just periodically checking their website or Facebook page? Thank y’all so much for your help! <3
