Last day of volunteering

Today is my last day of volunteering. I could not take it in anymore due to the undue burden they put on volunteers. I got an email from the volunteer coordinator asking me to sign up two weeks in advance which is uncalled for. Im going out today to do some dog walking then give a farewell card to the shelter manager. Its just how the animal shelters are being run by corporation causing distress to short staffed people including scratched out volunteers.
