Anyone else gonna still play ACNL when New Horizons comes out?

To me, it seems like the Animal Crossing community is trying to finish their New Leaf towns before just leaving them alone. But I love my New Leaf village and even though Iām getting New Horizons, I still wanna continue to play New Leaf.
Is anyone else going to or is it just going to be forgotten like Wild World? .-.
