Should I get a new switch??

Here’s the deal, I’ve had my switch V1 for a while (almost 3 years, plus I got it passed down) but lately I can’t get more than 2 hours of playtime without it saying low battery. Last night I put it on the charger at 5% and this morning it’s only at 40%. It’s been rough trying to get things done on my new island. Should I just suck it up and get a new one? Thanks in advance :)
