Moving Villagers to my HHP

I have had the same villagers for a long time. I end up loving them and getting attached. I decided to move them into my HHP so I can still connect with them, but get new friends on my island. I’ve had Kidd and Sherb for years, and have always seen them as brothers. This is their joint house I’m moving them into.
How do you guys say goodbye to old friends!? I still don’t know how or if I will be able to! 🫣💙
