What should I do with my island?

So I had 2 ideas and I can’t decide. So these are the basic ideas.
If I go with a flat island design I was gonna make a city with a fair and a mini Gyroid village and I was gonna give all the villagers front yards.
And if I go with not flat I was gonna make a Forrest town with all the villagers spaced out super far apart with front and side yards. It would have trees everywhere.
