I would want ALL or most of the items (furniture & decor) to be functional/interactive in some sort of way. Example: if you have a carnival area in your island, with a merry go round and teacups, cotton candy etc, imagine how cute it would be to see your villagers riding the rides or going to the stalls and then having a dialogue to you or to other villagers about what they did or if they had fun or even no fun depending on their personality! …

Or a lawn mower that actually turns on, or a pool that ur villagers can swim in, arcade games they can play with etc, (too many items to choose from but you get the gist😭) I feel like it would enhance the game and the villagers personalities! It would feel good to see them (and you and your friends) using and enjoying what you put on your island the way you intend them too!
