I just moved into a new apartment and a cat took a liking to me while moving in. Now ive lived here for 2 days and the cat sits outside of my front door. How do i get it to leave?
Post Body

I love animals so i talk to every animal i see. This cat must have attachment issues bc if i try to leave and the cat is outside, it throws a fit when i walk to my car. There isnt a garden or anything anywhere near my door so this is clearly a personal attachment. Pretty sure it has fleas, ive watched it scratch for 30 minutes now from my window, leading me to believe its not just a neighbors pet. Maybe the last person that lived here fed it? I even thought abt trying to take it in. Im allergic to cats so i shouldnt have even conversed w this cat bc now i feel awful. Id like to get rid of it humanely, can i call some kind of cat rescue to come get it?
