Is it possible to load a website with SSR and avoid the double load judder?

Post Body
I'm doing quite a big ecommerce build which will be using SSR and I'm still having issues where the load isn't as smooth as a standard HTML or PHP page, I have a worry the client isn't going to be happy with the way it loads.
The page loads once and then there is a judder as Angular client side takes over. I'm pretty sure I've put everything in place as describes in various 'go to' tutorials
