I've found that it makes setting up my parents (eg. fxLayout="row", fxLayout.xs="column"
) convenient and it ends up making my templates easy to write and pretty readable.
However, manipulating the children rarely works out as I'd hope. fxFlex="1"
for example does not behave like CSS would (flex: 1
), but instead it sets the flex-basis
to 100% and adds a max-width:1%;
and min-width: 1%;
as well.
I can be more verbose and type fxFlex="1 1 50px"
and hope that it behaves like CSS would (flex: 1 1 50px
), but instead it adds a max-width: 50px;
and min-width: 50px;
as well.
What do you guys think about it?
