I (f18) work at a restaurant, specifically on the to go area. Last week I bought a set of 3 pens and 15 refills for us. The waiters and waitresses took the pens so all that is left is 14 refills.
At first I was livid. I was shaking from anger and wanted to leave. Told my boss and she said they probably assumed they were up for grabs. I stewed in my anger for a moment, but then I calmed myself down and bought 10 more of the same pens.
If they need pens so much they took home the to go ones, clearly they are in demand. I have the means, I can provide them. Management is to tightly budgeted to.
I'm proud I reacted that way.
