Okay so first off, english isn't my first language, I'll try to explain it as good as I can haha.
So I just bought an 2nd-hand a8 Plus (with anet3d v1.7 board) While trying to clean the head I ripped one of the wires off the thermistor. I replaced the thermistor but the screen keeps saying my end-temp is 98C and the bed-temp is 198C (while they're room temp) when I try to preheat I keep getting the "heating failed" message. I think something on the board shorted while I ripped the wire (the machine was powered on). I can't see any obvious burn marks on the board. I'm getting a multimeter tomorrow so I can check the board for continuity/shorts.
Everything else seems to be working fine, steppers, endswitches, etc.
I was wondering if you guys experienced the same and had any tips on what I could try before replacing the entire board, seems like they're out off stock everywhere except AliExpress.
Edit: upon closer inspection I found a blown fuse. https://ibb.co/QfFg9X9 If you guys have any ideas on the specs I'd love to hear it. Rather try to save this board than buy a new one
