I don't drink coffee in excess, but I'm pretty religious about it. Every morning -- it helps me stay motivated at my job. And I have "one cup" but it's a pretty big cup, lol. I try to space it out, and don't take iron pills within 2 hours of coffee consumption.
Still, I have a feeling that it's getting in the way of recovering from anemia. This week I drank a lot of coffee, and the anemia headaches came back.
Tell me your stories of how your iron levels shot up after you gave up coffee! (or, if you managed to get the iron levels up with some careful, judiciously consumed coffee, tell me that too)
