Went to ER less than a month ago and my hemoglobin was 11, now it’s up to 13
Post Body

The only thing I’ve changed is I started taking a powdered beetroot supplement. My ferritin is bordering on too high, but my iron and TIBC is low, should I continue to supplement? Any advice is appreciated. Bloodwork results attached.

The ferritin could be artificially elevated due to inflammation. Have you had your CRP tested?

Right?! Lol! I've had to do tons of research on my own because my doctor won't give any explanation for my low ferritin.

I'm not a doctor but possibly if it's causing gut inflammation. Would also explain low iron and saturation.
