Normal hemoglobin, low everything else.
Post Body

My daughter (1.5 years old) was diagnosed with anemia last month due to a hgb finger prick reading of 9.4.

We did a huge diet change and her hemoglobin now, one month later is 12! Perfect!

However… her panel came back low for everything else. What causes this? Her pediatrician hasn’t returned any of my calls or messages this week.

Comments

Did they check her ferritin? She will probably need iron supplements for a few months. My daughter had to have them as well as myself.
