So I’m finally working up the nerve to schedule my colonoscopy. Stupid question but has anyone not had someone to accompany them? The website for the facility says they won’t let you leave without a friend or family member. My friends all work, I don’t have family nearby that could go with me either.

Schedule an Uber & ask them to pretend to be a friend? I know a lot of them will refuse this sort of trip because of the liability. I literally do not have these types of friends. Place a personal ad promising sexual favors to pretend to be my boyfriend?

I’m only semi-serious about this. I might just schedule it on a federal or state holiday because most of my friends work for the state. I’ll be owing someone lunch. How f’d up am I going to feel afterwards? I’m getting the pill prep, I don’t care what it costs. Wonder if I could have a high colonic instead 🤔
