I'm also fine with the alternative of being able to see the last date the satelite image was updated.
However, I can't find a way to get the Android Maps app to display that type of information (street view or satelite).
When I googled it, the only instructions I could find were for the desktop Earth app, and possibly for Maps on the desktop browser.
I say "possibly," because I can't make mobile Chrome do it in desktop mode, so until I find my way to a PC, I can't be sure that works either.
Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions.
