Hey guys - I have a complicated problem that I've been having since this last Friday and it's been a huge issue for me. Since my cell phone bill was $55 a month for 2 GB of data from Verizon which was a complete ripoff, I changed from Verizon as my provider for the first time in like ten years and went to Xfinity Mobile. I got a way better deal for a plan, and I was happy.
The next day on Saturday, however, everything worked well until the night. I work as a delivery driver so using my cell phone is extremely important, and after working that day and heading home, later that night I found that I wasn't getting any service on my phone for some reason. This continued all throughout the night, and I was going to bring my phone back in Sunday but Xfinity was closed so I had to wait until today.
So, flash-forward to today, I spent nearly three hours at Xfinity trying to get the problem fixed: they reset my network settings, did things on their end, changed SD cards twice, and I finally got Xfinity Mobile service back on my phone and was able to make/receive calls. I had work in about fifteen minutes, so I left for that, and I see when I get into the parking lot that my phone is without service again.
After this, I had enough of the problem so I ditched Xfinity Mobile as they seem to be nonstop trouble and went back to Verizon, went to a new data plan paying $80, got my phone seetup with them again, and a few minutes later after leaving the shop I went to check my voicemails and immediately after got disconnected from the service again. I'm still without service to this very moment.
This is a problem that has lasted days for me, and has completely interferred with my work life and personal life and I'm pretty desperate to find a solution. I have no idea what it could be as cell phones aren't my specialty, so if anybody is able to help I'll be immensely thankful.
EDIT: I have a Samsung Galaxy S8
