Hey guy,
I am a long time android user and I love it but there are a few things I don't get so thought I'll ask here maybe some knows why.
Last year I got an iPhone from work not the biggest fan of it but it's ok. One thing the iPhone does is when I turn it on it firsts asks me for my phone pin. After unlocking it asks for my Sim pin but I also have the possibility to cancel the Sim-unlocking and just use the phone without it. (Unlocking the sim-card later with out restarting is possible but it isn't the easiest)
My private phone is the OnePlus 9Pro. I really loved it (until I got the first android update made by oppo :/). A few months back I got a new sim-card and didn't had my sim-pin in mind because I only restart my phone for softwareupdates and bugs (now bugs are dalyi business so no problem any more). On day I had a small bug and my phone restarted. I knew I had a picture of my Sim-Pin somewhere but can't use my phone without unlocking my Sim. I had the luck and found a needle to get my Sim out and than look for the pin.
My question:
Why isn't it possible to use my phone without unlocking the sim. Is this a safety reasons I'm not thinking about? Or is it only a OnePlus thing?
Let me know your opinion
