RCS Status is stuck verifying my phone number

I just switched from Google Fi to T-Mobile. Same device, new sim card. Fi line is terminated completely and ported completely. I noticed RCS wasn't enabled and connected. It's stuck verifying my number. I've followed every thing I can find on the subject and no luck. I'm thinking it's cause I didn't disable chat features before switching to T-Mobile. Any ideas? Android 11 and messages beta version. All up to date. Thanks in advance
