Screen care question: AMOLED "reverse burn-in" on full screen where status bar is regularly solid black
Post Body

I've had a Galaxy S10 for less than 6 months. Generally, I let full screen apps and the status bar up top just do their own thing. A couple full screen apps I use quite frequently, put a solid black bar across where the status bar would be (rather than displaying the screen image where the status bar would be, with the camera punch hole over the displayed image). I am a heavy screen-time user.

Now, when the screen displays truly full screen (no status bar or black bar, camera punch hole obscures the displayed image): Essentially the image is darkened in the area at the top of the screen where the black status bar would be, due to those pixels frequently being "off" while the rest of the screen gets use and those pixels get worn.

Now, I fully expect this to eventually happen with most any phone screen, especially AMOLED. However, I didn't expect something like this to happen this fast into owning the phone, even with heavy use. My old Droid Turbo seemed to take at least a year or 2 before any noticeable screen degradation.

Anyone have suggestions for how to remedy this? Or prevent further damage?
