Hi guys, I have a problem with the encryption process.
I was trying to sync my work email with my Android phone (LG V10, about 2 years old), and Google (GSuite?) required me to encrypt my phone before syncing. About an hour ago, I started the syncing process, and my screen is now just... White. The only things that are visible are the white screen, and the bottom bar (Back, Home, Tabs, Dual SIM).
Sometimes the screen will start to go to sleep, or the phone will lock. I can turn on the screen, and if the screen fades, tapping on the screen will make it white again.
The Back button is highlighted in white (the other three are greyed out), and when I tap on it, it makes the tapping sound.
Other than that, there's literally nothing else I can do with my phone.
I Googled a bit before posting here, and it seems that during the encryption process, there's usually a screen with a progress bar and the Droid, but mine is literally just a white screen.
Any advice? I'd rather not lose my data, but it's not life or death if I do.
EDIT: Ended up factory resetting my phone ):
