Remove white background from app icons in TouchWiz?

Hello! I'm new to Android and just picked up a Note 7. I'm really liking the phone UI, other than the white rounded rectangles TouchWiz is putting behind all the app icons. I saw that you can change themes, however I haven't found an option just to use the apps' default icons without any background applied.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do that?
